 It is Monday and we are all creating

Little Houses Table Runners...

Raw Edge Applique'

Debbie is creating a 

Halloween theme runner...

Melissa is using floral fabrics...

Betty is using soft colors...

Linda's is bright and cheerful...

The houses have been fused to the 

background fabric and now 

the stitching begins...

The first two borders are stitched on...

Pick Up Stix.....Quilt Blocks

Today we are stitching up

Pick Up Stix 

1 inch fabric strips

1st strip purple inserted into 10 inch square of fabric

A 2nd cut is made into the block...

I chose a red strip of fabric...

3rd cut is made and an orange strip goes here...

We are stitching a 1/4 inch seam allowance...

You can make as many cuts as you like

and add as many fabric strips...

Pick Up Stix Blocks

These are so FUN !

We are planning to make 30 blocks

It doesn't even look like we made a dent

in that big pile of fabric strips:

After collecting jeans and cutting them

into 6 inch squares...

Larissa finished her denim quilt

98 x 107 inches
