Members & Their Quilting Projects

Claudette......Moon Over Mountain Quilt



She is doing applique' stitching on the mountains and moons



Moon Over Mountain......on the Design Wall

We just had to play with the blocks to get a feel for what this quilt is going to look like.
Claudette has several blocks to complete, and is hoping to begin piecing the top together in the very near future!



Kathi.......Mixed Media Journal Quilt

She created this as a sample for a class she is teaching this month.
Included in this quilt: Fabric, sheet music, tea bags, postage stamps, book images, rubber stamping, keys shaped like feathers, rub on letters, pkg of Good Earth Tea.



Kathi.......Mushroom Forest Art Quilt



Kathi rust dyed the background house and mushrooms.
Image transfers of dwarf & mushrooms, fern applique.



Betty.........Pillowcases



Cases for Causes

Betty is donating her pillowcases to JanniLou Creations in Philomath, Oregon.
They are part of the Cases for Causes effort.

Rust Tex Challenge Quilt Winner

Kathi's quilt, "A House in Harlan" was chosen from 118 rusted quilts entered in the Rust Tex Challenge 2010.
Her quilt will travel to the Chicago International Quilt Exhibit in April.
Then on to England, and a world wide tour for the next year.
