November at the Quilting Palace



26 degree weather couldn't keep us away...










We thawed out with warm coffee, cocoa 

and coffee cake

Raffle Quilt….2015



We are at it again….




Creating a Raffle Quilt to benefit

The Women's Cancer Coalition






White Swirly Background Fabric







We are working with a softer palette this year…








The fabrics were cut into random size strips

then sewed together in strip units…

Rochelle is a senior in high school this year and is

becoming an excellent Quilter!



























More Design Work…






It was a challenge to keep track of the strips…






so we used sticky notes to keep them organized!


In 2 days we completed the quilt top.

Here it is ready to be basted…

The quilt will be machine quilted over the summer.

We will post the completed quilt next fall.
