The Harlan Valley Quilters is 

Celebrating 20 years...

We have given away more than

100 Comfort Quilts to 

members of the Harlan community.

We are having our annual

HVQ Autumn Quilters Retreat...

 

We had a Zipper Bag class on Monday...

We learned to create zipper tabs,

make linings for our bags,

square up the bottom of the bags

and use Pellon Flex Foam

Let the Games Begin !

The Jumbo Ric Rac was very popular...

The square bottom on the bag allows the

bag to stand up on its own...

We also used the leftover zipper ends

to create a handle on the side...

Once we got going...

it was hard to stop !

Our bags are done in time

for holiday gift giving...
